Everybody..

The Compact Calendar for 2010 is here.
Compact Calendar Malaysia 2010

A Malaysia version of the famous Compact Calendar from David Seah.

During my uni life, I have re-edit the Compact Calendar to suit Malaysia holidays and school holidays.
Compact Calendar 2008 - Malaysia Edition

Then later for 2009, due to good response from general public, Malaysia of course… I continue with the 2009 version
Compact Calendar 2009 - Malaysia Edition

and now… for next year 2010.

Compact Calendar 2010 Malaysian Edition - Public Holiday Edition (PDF)

Compact Calendar 2010 Malaysian Edition - Public Holiday Edition + School Holidays (PDF)

Compact Calendar 2010 Malaysian Edition (.xls) * Both version included.

Credit goes to David Seah - creator of the original Compact Calendar.

The public holiday should be correct..

Reminder
Since we have our different state in Malaysia, some of the holiday may not apply to all people. For better flexibility I would suggest you to download the Excel version (xls) and key in the holiday inside the Holiday Lookup Table. Use this format dd/mm/yyyy followed by the holiday name on the other column. You will know once you open the xls file.

Suggested usage
Demo
You circle the selected date and draw a line to connect it to specific activity you want to do on that date. It works for me during my university life and being stucked in front of my table it always remind me on my assignments deadline. ;)

If you find this Malaysia edition compact calendar is useful to you, leave a comment below. It give me the feel good feeling :p .

Cheers..

Pejalai already reached its 3rd year online. A blog started from pure coincident. It start from the keyword Sarikei in google and lead to sixthseal.com and the rest is history.. Here we are 3 years after the incident…

I was late 7 days, Pejalai was successfully conceived on the 13th of April 2005 :)

Back then, Pejalai used to have regular readers, the number soon decline in late 07 and 08. But, can’t blame them though. Its all my fault for not being active enough.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

cheers

Introduction of new word to the Iban: Part 1

January 16, 2008 | Posted in Best Of Pejalai | No Comments »

while I was half awake just now, I realized that how much of our Iban community has change since 15 years ago. Day to day life is not really the same now.

One great example is that how many new words has seep into our language!

The easiest one to spot is the wide usage of the word handphone, yeah. Cellphone some people might say.

Handphone/Cellphone
If you ask the folks in the rumah panjang about handphone, let say.. 18 years ago. The will look at you with a blank stare, and maybe some (very small individual) might know it, but they know it as ATUR. ;)

to be continued…
